Lisa Loring, Who Played TV’s Original Wednesday Addams, Dies At 64
Actress Lisa Loring, best known for her debut role at six years old as Wednesday Addams on ABC’s original TV adaptation of The Addams Family (1964–1966), has passed away at the age of 64. According to a Facebook post by Laurie Jacobson, a Hollywood historian and Loring’s friend, she died after experiencing complications from a stroke caused by smoking and high blood pressure. After being on life support for three days, Loring died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, in Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, on Saturday.
