Brian Daboll has said he’ll make a decision by Giants training camp in regards to adding play calling to his many duties. But it appears the head coach already has made up his mind. He made the calls when the Giants did full team drills during OTAs and minicamp. And he’s talked about taking over as chief play-caller since March. The New York Giants are optimistic that starting quarterback Daniel Jones will play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday after he left the Dolphins game with a neck injury. Jones was hurt in the fourth quarter when he was sacked for the sixth time. He was taken off for the rest of the game after feeling some pain. Jones had X-rays after the game and is due for an additional test on Monday.
