Hong Kong’s Catholic Diocese axes third consecutive Tiananmen mass as cardinal urges ‘forgiveness’ over crackdown
Hong Kong’s Catholic Diocese has axed a vigil in remembrance of the 1989 Tiananmen crackdown for a third consecutive year. The Hong Kong Catholic Social Communication Office told HKFP it had instead held a service to pray for the Catholic church in China, and the country itself, more than a week ago.
