A drone launched from an area in Yemen controlled by Houthi rebels was intercepted by the EU's mission in the Red Sea on Thursday morning, according to a top military officer. Ukraine's National Police said Russian forces launched an air strike on the southern port city of Odesa in the early hours of Tuesday. Four children are among the civilians injured in the attack which also damaged houses, shops and cars. One house was partially destroyed. Emergency services personnel helped rescue residents from burning and damaged buildings. The Odesa regional governor said the strike involved the use of drones.

Ukraine launched a series of drone attacks into Russia targeting its energy infrastructure, according to Moscow's Defence Ministry on Saturday. Russian air defences intercepted and destroyed fifty drones across eight regions, in the western Belgorod region near the Ukrainian border 26 drones were shot down. New footage by the Palestinian news agency Wafa shows crowds of displaced people in the central and southern Gaza Strip returning to their homes in the north. Wafa said Israeli forces were blocking the route northwards as thousands of people attempted to move back to their hometowns in recent days. Ukrainian drones attacked industrial facilities in the province of Tatarstan, Russian authorities said Tuesday. If confirmed, it would be Kyiv's deepest strike inside Russian territory since the war began more than two years ago.
