On 31 March, people across Europe will be moving their clocks forward one hour, but it could be one of the last times this happens. The convention of Daylight Savings Time (DST) could be abolished in the EU if a petition by experts is successful. They hope the issue will be taken up at the EU Parliament elections taking place on 9 June. In 2018, the parliament voted to get rid of twice-a-year clock changes.
