One Indonesian Killed, 2 Others Remain Unreachable in Turkey Quake

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – An Indonesian national was killed in Monday’s 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Turkey, the country’s embassy in Ankara confirmed. Nia Marlinda, who originally comes from Bali province, along with her Turkish husband and their one-year-old child were crushed to death beneath rubble in Kahramanmaras city. The Indonesian Embassy in Ankara had already contacted the family of the deceased back home.
