New York (AFP) - Cuba's government committed "systematic human rights violations" in response to last summer's unprecedented anti-government protests, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said in a report Monday. The report, published on the first anniversary of the demonstrations, accuses the Cuban authorities of having carried out "arbitrary detention, abuse-ridden prosecutions, and torture."
