Indonesia, Saudi Arabia Seek Ways to Cut Hajj Waiting Time
A Hajj pilgrim quota of 221,000 has been allotted for Indonesia this year.
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com \- Indonesia and Saudi Arabia are looking for ways to reduce the Hajj waiting time due to the increasing number of Hajj pilgrims, an official said. “Currently, the Saudi and Indonesian authorities are discussing the most proper way to reduce the Hajj waiting list,” the Religious Affairs Ministry’s director general of Hajj and Umrah Hilman Latief said during a talk on Monday, Feb. 27.
