Former German international Lars Stindl has said he plans to stay in the football business after ending his playing career in summer. Long-time Borussia Mönchengladbach captain Stindl returned to his boyhood club, second division Karlsruhe, last year and said recently he would hang up his boots after the season. Former German international Lars Stindl will end his career after the season which he played in a return to boyhood club Karlsruhe. "It was an incredibly beautiful and intense time, with many highs but also some difficult moments," Stindl said in a statement issued by second division Karlsruhe on Thursday. "It was a dream come true for me last summer to have returned to my home club. This last year was incredibly special for me!"
