Former Nebraska star Keisei Tominaga was honored Tuesday with the title of Admiral in the Nebraska Navy by Governor Jim Pillen. Tominaga met with Pillen to accept an official certificate granting him the title as the pair posed for a photo together on X. Nebraska sharpshooter Keisei Tominaga has long been one of the nation’s top three-point shooters. To cap off his career with the Huskers, he’s performing on a national stage on Thursday night at the Final Four in Phoenix, Arizona. The Huskers had three players honored by the league Tuesday Three Nebraska men's basketball players were honored by Big Ten Conference coaches and media with All-Conference selections Tuesday. Derrick Walker highlighted the honors, being named second-team by Big Ten coaches. He's the first Husker since 2018 to earn at least second-team. Keisei Tominaga was named honorable mention by both the coaches and media. Sam Grisel was Nebraska's sportsmanship honoree.
