Latvia's Central Election Commission (CVK) says final voter turnout for the EU elections was stable at 33.7%, slightly up on 2019 data when 33.5% turned out to vote. The figure is still a far cry from 2009 when more than half of eligible voters went to the polls. Latvia plans to invest €20 million ($22 million) in the development of military drones, Defence Minister Andris Sprūds said in Riga on Monday.
