New York City will pay tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. on May 21. The Brooklyn-born rap legend - who was killed in a drive-by shooting in March 1997, aged 24 - would've celebrated his 50th birthday on May 21, and to mark the occasion, the Empire State Building will change its lights’ colour to red and white, with a crown spinning on its mast to honour the iconic star.
