The New York Mets are hoping that they will not have to place star pitcher Jacob DeGrom on the injured list. DeGrom started Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Mets were looking to sweep the Diamondbacks with ace pitcher DeGrom on the mound. The starting pitcher only pitched five innings before leaving the game with an injury.
