The Crow’s original director does not appear to be very excited about the prospect of his movie getting remade. In a Facebook post, Alex Proyas — who helmed the first adaptation of The Crow back in 1994 — wrote that while he doesn’t “get any joy from seeing negativity about any fellow filmmakers work” he thinks “the fan’s [negative] response [to the new film’s marketing] speaks volumes.” “[The Crow] is not just a movie,” Proyas added. “Brandon Lee died making it, and it was finished as a testament to his lost brilliance and tragic loss. It is his legacy. That’s how it should remain.” READ MORE...
