According to Chris Karpman of Sun Devil Source, former Nebraska quarterback Jeff Sims is currently on a visit to Arizona State. Sims entered the NCAA transfer portal following the 2023 season but has yet to find a home. Before that, he was a three-year starter at Georgia Tech. He has 31 career TD passes and 29 INTs.” Sim...

Five-star freshman QB Dylan Raiola was certainly a hot commodity as a recruit, but he says he wanted nothing to do with any NIL negotiations before committing to the Cornhuskers. The highly-touted quarterback was initially committed to Georgia, but ultimately swapped his commitment to Nebraska back on Dec. 18. Whether NIL was a major factor there is unknown, but either way, Raiola just likes staying out of the loop on the NIL negotiation side of things, focusing instead on playing ball. He explained that mindset when asked about NIL on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast. “Yeah, that’s a differe...

Matt Rhule takes the good with the bad in regards to the NCAA transfer portal. The Nebraska head coach won’t blame the players in their decision making though. Rhule prides himself on being transparent and vice versa with his players every single day. The Huskers coach said the team had yet to lose anyone as the portal opened Tuesday. But he acknowledged the way the portal operates is “sad.” “I think if anybody on our team wants to go on the portal it’s open today,” Rhule said. “I mean obviously no one has yet, I don’t anticipate anybody going in when we get done with spring. We’ll have a coup...
