Duff McKagan has announced a string of solo U.S. tour dates to coincide with today’s release of his new double live album, Tenderness: Live in Los Angeles. The U.S. leg of the Lighthouse tour — named after his 2023 solo album — launches on Nov. 4 in Boston and concludes on Nov. 20 in Seattle. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 7. The Police will release a massive box set celebrating their 1983 album Synchronicity. The six-CD set will be released on July 26. The limited-edition deluxe box set will feature 55 previously unreleased tracks, including Sting‘s original and never-heard demos for the album. Oasis will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, with a new “Deluxe Edition” reissue featuring previously unheard versions of songs and outtakes. The two-CD or four-LP set will arrive on Aug. 30, the same day the band released its debut album in 1994. Neil Young and Crazy Horse have announced the release of Early Daze, a collection of mostly previously unreleased tracks from 1969. The 10-track set will be released on June 28 and include songs that ended up on their first album together that year, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, as well on Young’s 1970 LP After the Gold Rushand his later records (such as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young‘s Deja Vu). John Lennon‘s fourth proper solo album, Mind Games, is being reissued and expanded to include eight discs of remasters, remixes, session recordings and outtakes for its 50th anniversary.
