Disciplinary hearings for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson are underway to determine if he violated the league’s code of conduct policy in wake of his 24 lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. The NFL is updating its COVID-19 policy as the virus surges and case clusters sideline prominent players and coaches. The league’s new goal is to test vaccinated players once every seven days instead of once every 14 days, NFL general counsel Larry Ferazani said Thursday. Free-agent cornerback Richard Sherman was arrested and booked Wednesday morning for a burglary and a domestic violence felony charge. It was also announced that Sherman was denied bail. A Redmond Police Department spokesman said that it’s standard procedure for suspects of domestic violence to be denied bail until they can appear before a judge.
