That was significantly narrower than the company's €214.8 million loss in the comparable quarter last year, primarily helped by growth in sales. German wind turbine company Nordex Group said that it has received an order for N149/5.X turbines from the United States and will be supplying 25 of its Delta 4000 series models. The turbines will be installed with an 89m seismic tower at an undisclosed wind farm in California. Scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2025, commissioning is expected by year-end. Additionally, the contract encompasses a ten-year service agreement for the turbines. To date, the Nordex Group has sold 738 turbines of the Delta4000 series with a capacity of more than 3.6 GW in Canada and the United States.

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex says it has received an order to supply 50 wind turbines for two wind energy projects in South Africa. The order came from EDF Renewables South Africa, a subsidiary of the French energy giant. The financial terms of the transaction are not known. Lithuanian wind energy project developer UAB Renerga, a company of the Achema Group, has contracted German wind-turbine maker Nordex Group to supply 40 N163/6.X turbines, Nordex said in a statement on Thursday. Nordex, the German wind turbine manufacturer said on Tuesday that it received an order to supply and install 57 N163/5.X turbines from the Delta4000 series from a South African customer it did not name.
