Ollie Gordon broke out at Oklahoma State last year to become a leading back nationally. That sets him up to be even better this upcoming year as a junior in Stillwater. Greg McElroy rated Gordon as the top running back in college football this year during a recent ranking on ‘Always College Football’. That’s due to the history that he could make with similar production for the ‘Pokes like the season prior. “He’s going to try to join Jonathan Taylor, Darren McFadden, and Ricky Williams as the only running backs to ever win the Doak Walker Award twice,” McElroy said. “He was the obvious choice l...

Steelers running back Najee Harris likely will use this season as an audition for bigger money, whether it’s from Pittsburgh or another NFL team in need of a power back. After all, earlier this month, the Steelers opted not to pick up Harris’ fifth-year option on his rookie contract. This means Harris will be a free agent after this season. Pittsburgh can re-sign him or he can try the market place, where teams tend to devalue running backs. In the meantime, Harris is prepping for 2024 by dropping weight. This is according to Josh Scott of JRS Performance in Houston. Scott has been working with...

Oklahoma State hiring David Taylor as the new wrestling coach was quite the move, in laymen’s terms, according to Mike Malinconico. A longtime coach and content creator in the world of wrestling, Malinconico was astounded by Oklahoma State’s decision to opt for the Olympic Gold Medalist with zero prior college coaching experience. But that doesn’t mean it won’t work for the Cowboys. “I try my best to pull away from the situation right as often as I can and not allow my personal emotions to lead what I do or say,” Malinconico told On3. “That said, they shook the world.
