Salman Rushdie is continuing his recovery after he was stabbed at a speech at the Chautauqua Institution in New York this summer. An update on his status was provided by his agent Andrew Wylie, who was speaking with the Spanish newspaper El País. It had mostly been radio silence since Wylie texted “the long road to recovery has begun,” to The New York Times back in August directly after Rushdie’s stabbing.
