American rock band The Killers issued an apology after controversial statements made during a concert in the Republic of Georgia. The band is on a European tour that will last through early September. During their concert in Georgia, The Killers invited a Russian fan to come on stage and play drums, which the band considers a long-standing tradition. During the bit, lead singer Brandon Flowers appeared to have called Georgians and Russians “brothers and sisters,” prompting a wave of boos and other crude remarks from the crowd though the rest of the show, with some getting up and leaving early....

The Killers are extending their 2022 Imploding The Mirage Tour into 2023. The tour supports their sixth and seventh studio albums, Imploding the Mirage (2020) and Pressure Machine (2021). The band will start its North American leg in Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 16, 2023. The Killers will also play a series of postponed concerts from 2022, including those in Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Houston.
