Regardless of the decision that Tom Brady makes – it appears he won’t be back with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next year. The future hall-of-fame quarterback is expected to take some time away from the game before making his decision on whether he will return to the NFL for another year, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports. But his current Buccaneer teammates are pessimistic he will be back alongside them next year. “I’d be surprised if he’s back,” one said, according to Rapoport. And another speculated “He sounded like a person saying goodbye for good.” The report comes after days of Brady and the ...

Tom Brady had a superb NFL career but it’s time for him to head off to the sunset and call it quits. Overall for arguably the greatest quarterback of all time, Brady had another respectable season – especially when you consider his age. He passed for nearly 4,700 yards and tossed 25 touchdown passes compared with nine interceptions. Many NFL organizations would take those numbers and run. However, there is a multitude of reasons why it’s time to say goodbye to the NFL. Firstly, Brady hasn’t been at his best when the competition has increased over the past two playoff appearances – which is unl...

Those scam calls and texts about your car’s extended warranty wouldn’t be so bad if the person on the other end of the line was in reality a future NFL Hall of Famer and arguably the best to ever play the game. Just ask the Buccaneers’ Tristan Wirfs, who was on the business end of one such text from his quarterback. “Tristan, we’ve been trying to reach you regarding your car’s extended warranty,”thwarted Dolphins owner/player Tom Brady texted his tackle. “Just kidding your car is fine… it’s your favorite Qb.” It all started at a recent media session, when the 23-year-old said he didn’t have th...

Tom Brady received a hero’s sendoff—and rightfully so—in February when he announced his retirement from the NFL. Well, now that the seven-time Super Bowl winner reneged and plans to suit up again one familiar face wants justice. “I want the letter back,” Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning said. “You got to read all these nice things, I want it back. I want the bottle of wine back, too.” Manning, Brady’s longtime rival, is known for his sense of humor—in addition to throwing a tight spiral, of course. So it’s safe to assume he was joking here. Plus, the laughter after he said it is a dead ...

After seven seasons and a Super Bowl victory, Ali Marpet has decided to hang up his spikes. The 28-year-old (now former) Buccaneers’ offensive lineman made the announcement on Sunday, reportedly due to health concerns. Come next season, the Bucs’ offense will look much different from the one that helped win Super Bowl LV, as Tom Brady retired this offseason after an unprecedented 22-year career, and offensive linemen Ryan Jensen and Alex Cappa are slated to enter free agency, along with receiver Chris Godwin, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and running back Leonard Fournette. Marpet’s move isn’t the...

There’s not much else that a 44-year-old quarterback can accomplish—especially when his name is Tom Brady. The man has poured his blood, sweat and tears into the game of football for the past two decades and earned seven Super Bowl rings, five Super Bowl MVPs, three league MVPs, 15 Pro Bowler selections and many more accolades in the process. It’s not like he’s been hanging on, either. Brady finished the 2021 campaign with 5,316 yards, 43 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions. The season ended a tad early for his liking, but it’s certainly nothing to scoff at. Now it appears that the man who ha...

As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter the offseason earlier than they would have liked, they face another harsh reality: the possibility of Tom Brady’s career ending with their season. Team sources and some close to Brady all acknowledge that the (former?) QB remains noncommittal to playing beyond 2021. He could decide to lace ‘em up again—the 44-year-old has expressed a desire to play until he’s at least 45—though it’s certainly not a given. Chatter of his retirement has been circulating for a few weeks now, and Brady has said he wants to take at least a month after the season to decide on his ca...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback Tom Brady says he received a warning from the NFL but no fine for his notorious tablet throw during a December 19 loss to the New Orleans Saints. “I did get warned from the NFL on that,” Brady said. “So, I won’t throw another Surface.” He added that the NFL said if he does it again there will be a fine. The legendary quarterback apologized for his actions, but added a joke. “I think it was pretty good marketing for the Surface at the end of the day,” Brady said with a laugh. “I think it worked out pretty well for them.”

Tom Brady has entered his 22nd NFL season and is showing absolutely zero signs of slowing down. The stats back up his dominance: the 44-year old has now thrown nine touchdown passes in his first two starts of the season, his personal best. On Sunday against the Falcons, the GOAT threw five touchdowns and no interceptions, leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 48-25 win. He now has a whopping 17 touchdown passes over his last four games, dating back to the playoffs. True to his character, Brady made sure to point out areas of improvement, despite his team now having scored a minimum of 30 point...
