Dennis DeYoung has issued a pointed response to his former Styx bandmate, Tommy Shaw. During a recent interview, Shaw explained how he was able to let go of his “resentment list,” which included long harbored animosity towards DeYoung. The frontman’s penchant for bombastic, rock opera-style tunes clashed with his bandmates, and contributed to Styx’s hiatus from 1984 to 1990.
