Madrid (AFP) - Morocco has turned a blind eye to thousands of migrants heading to Spain's Ceuta enclave in order to pressure Madrid to recognise its sovereignty over the Western Sahara, analysts said. Some 8,000 migrants have since Monday swum or used tiny inflatable boats to cross unimpeded into the tiny territory from neighbouring Morocco, sparking a crisis for Madrid. Washington (AFP) - The United States will open a "virtual" diplomatic post in Western Sahara ahead of a consulate, the State Department said Thursday, after recognizing Moroccan sovereignty over the disputed territory earlier this month. Washington (AFP) - Jared Kushner, US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and advisor, will visit Israel and Morocco next week to discuss the normalization of ties between the two countries, a US official told AFP Tuesday.
