RESERVATIONS FOR 2024 RAM 1500 REV MAXED OUT

The all-electric pickup truck wars are in full swing and the latest to enter the ring is the 2024 Ram 1500 REV which made its production model debut not too long ago. The Ram 1500 REV is set to start production at the end of 2024 but has already maxed out its reservation capacity according to its exclusive reservation website. It’s not the only electrified pickup truck to fill up reservations or amass a large following early on, but it is the most recent.

The production model Ram 1500 REV showed itself off during a Super Bowl commercial this year, which seems to maintain the silhouette of the gas-powered Ram 1500, but is easily identifiable with its “tuning fork” signature lighting. During the Big Game reveal, Ram also announced a website leading potential customers to a portal in which they can put down a fully refundable $100 deposit and begin standing in line for their truck. There was never a certain limit mentioned (a pattern that can be observed with every new electric truck reservation) on the website or in the commercial for how many reservations are going to be accepted but whatever that number was, they’ve reached it.

According to the Ram reservation website which prompts you to pay and become a “Ram REV Insider” the brand is not accepting any more membership applications. The website does however offer the opportunity to sign up for an update as to when they will be opening the books back open again, free of charge. The Ram REV 1500 is one of the last of the major auto manufacturers to bring an all-electric pickup truck to the market. While it was beat out by Rivian, Ford and even GM, the Ram 1500 REV will bring strengthened features such as being able to surpass 500 miles of range on a single charge and class leading towing capabilities to name a few.
