Nebraska to host Missouri State Wednesday in WNIT

At least one more game will be played at PBA this season

Nebraska women's basketball's postseason path is now clear.

The Huskers (16-14, 8-10 Big Ten) will host Missouri State (20-11, 14-6 MVC) Wednesday at 6 p.m. CDT at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Nebraska holds a 2-1 all-time record in the matchup, though the latest meeting, in December of 1993, went to the Lady Bears.

Nebraska finished eighth in the Big Ten Conference regular season standings before a second round exit in the league tournament. As the highest Big Ten team not in the NCAA Tournament, the Huskers earned an automatic bid into the WNIT.

Missouri State finished fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference regular season standings before falling to conference champion Drake in the league tournament quarterfinals. They have won at least 20 games for six consecutive seasons.

The game will be broadcast on the Huskers Radio Network, including B107.3 FM and 1400 AM and 99.3 FM KLIN in Lincoln.

Wednesday's winner will face the winner of Northern Iowa and Colorado State March 18-21. You can view the full bracket here.
