Japan logs trade deficit of 897.7 bil. yen in Feb.

Japan logged a goods trade deficit of 897.7 billion yen ($6.7 billion) in February, the Finance Ministry said Thursday.

Imports gained 8.3 percent while exports rose 6.5 percent, both in value terms, according to the ministry's preliminary report.
