Delhi Police questioning Rahul Gandhi on women who told him they were sexually harrased in Jammu and Kashmir

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is facing questioning over his recent comments on the sexual harassment of women in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports several top officials of the Delhi Police reached Congress leader’s residence in New Delhi to question him and are seeking details of the women who have faced sexual harassment for filing legal complaints. Special CP (Law and Order), Sagarpreet Hooda along with DCP Pranav Tayal were at the Gandhi’s residence. Earlier a notice was sent to him on the matter.

According to police, Rahul Gandhi earlier gave a statement in Srinagar on January 30 that during his Bharat Jodo Yatra he met several women and they informed him that they had been raped. Police said that are looking to ensure justice was metered to the families .

Earlier Rahul Gandhi was served a notice on March 16 after he claimed that several women approached him to speak about the issue of sexual harassment in the union territory.
