Actor Lukas Gage revealed that he feels pressured to label his sexuality.

“An agent that dropped me was like, ‘Stop dyeing your hair, stop wearing weird clothes, and pick a lane: gay, bi, or straight. It’s too confusing,'” he told The New York Times. “I understand representation and voices that need to be heard, but I don’t want to do anything on anyone’s accord but my own.”

“Let me do it when I’m ready. And it’s acting. I feel like everyone should get the opportunity to play whatever they want,” Gage continued. “I’m a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody’s business and nothing can be sacred. It’s a weird line that I’m still trying to figure out.”

Gage has played several LGBT characters on the shows The White Lotus, You, Euphoria and Love, Victor.

Like his sexuality, Gage has been fairly private when it comes to relationships.

His first public girlfriend was Claudia Sulewski in 2016. There were rumors of Gage dating any number of his T@gged costars like Emma Dumont and Lulu Antariska.

Currently, Gage is dating Phoebe Fisher. According to Instagram, the two have been linked since October 2019.

This week, hairstylist Chris Appleton said he is in a relationship with Gage.
