Mozzarella-Tomato

Ingredients for 4 people:

8 firm bottled tomatoes
4 mozzarella balls of 125 g each
4 tbsp olive oil
4 tsp pumpkin seeds
1/2 bunch chives, cut into large pieces
some balsamic cream
some chilli threads
Pepper from the mill
A little salt

Preparation:

1. Rinse and clean the tomatoes. Finely slice both ends of the tomatoes, except for the except for the middle piece with many seeds. Place the tomato slices in a sieve to drain.

2. Season the tomatoes with salt. Slice the mozzarella and place on plates.

3. Form tomatoes into a flower and place in the middle.

4. Drizzle everything with olive oil and balsamic cream. Season with a few chilli strings and pepper from the mill. Sprinkle with chives and pumpkin seeds. Serve.

Tip: Use the leftover tomatoes for a tomato sauce or gazpacho, for example.
