Deep fried apple rings in parmesan dough with sage

Ingredients for 4 people:

2 eggs (size M)
2 tablespoons olive oil
200 ml beer
125 g flour
1 tbsp grated parmesan
salt
2 apples (approx. 200 g each)
approx. 8 large sage leaves
approx. 1 l deep-frying fat

Preparation:

1. Beat the eggs, oil, beer, flour and parmesan into a smooth batter, season with salt.

2. Peel apples as desired, remove core and cut apples into rings or slices. Wash the sage leaves and pat dry.

3. Heat the frying fat in a wide pan. Fry the apple rings and sage one by one
through the batter and fry in batches in the hot fat on both sides until golden.

Tip: Serve with olives and herb pesto.
