Glossier Has Opened A Chic New Store In The Heart Of Chicago

CHICAGO—Glossier, the beauty brand, has officially opened their first store in the Midwest, and it’s located in the heart of Chicago. Established in 2014 as an online-only beauty brand, Glossier has expanded its reach across the globe with pop-up shops, and now boasts brick-and-mortar stores.

The brand new location at 932 N. Rush Street draws inspiration from the city’s industrial roots and cool weather, featuring a refreshing minty-green color palette.

To celebrate their grand opening, Glossier threw a special event, complete with delicious mocktails and snacks from local favorites like Garrett Popcorn. Visitors were also treated to a live performance by Chicago-native saxophonist Darryl Tate. But the excitement didn’t stop there. Glossier also offered complimentary embroidery on their store-exclusive Bucket Hat on a first come, first serve basis with one hat embroidery per person.

Glossier’s new store now boasts a selfie mirror where shoppers can snap photos and show off their Glossier-inspired looks. This new store marks Glossier’s 11th location overall and their first in the Midwest. With successful stores in Miami, Boston, New York, and Los Angeles, it’s clear that Glossier’s unique approach to beauty has captured the hearts of customers across the country.

The store is open from 10am to 8pm.
