1. Kayaking experience (Akiota Town Sandankyo)

You can try kayaking at Sandankyo Rapid Kayak School in Akiota Town. If you are interested in kayaking, there is no problem even if you are inexperienced. We use a highly stable boat called a fan kayak, so it is unlikely to tip over. Practice paddling on land and then try floating on the calm surface of the water.

3. Open cafe by the water

4. Cycling (Etajima City)

Etajima City is an island located approximately 25 minutes by high-speed boat and 40 minutes by ferry from Hiroshima City, and approximately 10 minutes by high-speed boat and 20 minutes by ferry from Kure City. The island has a variety of courses, from flatlands to hill climbs, and there is little traffic and traffic lights, making it ideal for cycling. Some teams come to practice LSD (Long Slow Distance), which involves running slowly over long distances.

5. Sera Kogen Farm (Sunflower)

The Sunflower Festival is held at Sera Kogen Farm from late July to late August. The entire hill, which is larger than Mazda Stadium, is covered in yellow with 1.1 million sunflowers of 50 varieties. There is a farm restaurant where you can enjoy barbecue and sera burgers, a flower cafe with delicious herbal tea, and experience menus and events that children can enjoy.

6. Umegaura Natural Park

Miyajima's Ugegaura Nature Park is a leisure spot where you can enjoy the sea and mountains. In the summer, a 200m long sandy beach is opened, and a campsite and tennis court are also available. Accommodation cabins are available for families and groups. We also rent supplies needed for camping and barbecues, as well as play equipment. You can also request fishing on a recreational fishing boat or cruising around the island.
