Small cherry ring cakes

Ingredients for 12 pieces:

150 g soft butter
150 g sugar
3 eggs (M)
grated peel of ½ lemon
160 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
250 g sour cherries
½ tsp cardamom powder
Also:
Grease for the ramekins
flour for dusting

Preparation:

1. Grease ramekins and dust with flour. Mix the butter, sugar, eggs, grated lemon zest, flour and baking powder to a dough.

2. Pit the cherries. Fold in cherries and cardamom. Pour the batter into the fill. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven 160°C) for approx. 20 minutes. Turn out the cake and dust with powdered sugar.

Tip: If you don't have small bundt cake molds available, muffin molds can be used as well.
