On May 25, 2023 JST, an hour-long PlayStation Showcase featured the very latest news on a number of titles.
At the PlayStation Showcase, Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announced that METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER from the METAL GEAR series is currently in production.
METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER Trailer Revealed!
Konami announced that METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is in production and released an announcement trailer at the same time.
The title is a remake of METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER, released on PlayStation2 in 2004, featuring the same story, characters, and game design.
The 2-minute announcement trailer shows Snake hiding in the jungle.
They are currently working hard to evolve METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER, a masterpiece of the METAL GEAR series, into the latest modern graphics and release it as METAL GEAR SOLID Δ(delta): SNAKE EATER.
PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam will be the supported platforms, and the release date will follow at a later date.

METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 Will Release In Autumn 2023!
The first METAL GEAR debuted in 1987, marking the 35th anniversary of the series in 2022, and now a collection that will serve as the culmination of the series to date will go on sale.
METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 is the first collection work, featuring METAL GEAR SOLID, METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SONS OF LIBERTY (HD Edition) and METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER (HD Edition).
The launch is expected to be in the autumn of 2023.
