Kohlrabi cutlets

Ingredients for 4 people:

3 kohlrabi (approx. 300 g each)
Salt
2 eggs (M)
Pepper
100 - 150 g breadcrumbs
75 g flaked almonds
100 - 150 g flour
4-6 tbsp oil
Also:
Parsley and lime wedges for serving

Preparation:

1. Peel kohlrabi and cut into slices of equal thickness. Cook in boiling salted water for approx. 10 minutes. Drain well and leave to cool.

2. Beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Mix breadcrumbs and flaked almonds. Turn the kohlrabi slices one after the other in the flour, beaten egg and almond mixture and press down well.

3. Fry in hot oil, turning a little at a time, over a medium heat until golden brown.
Serve with some chopped parsley and lime wedges.

Serve with jacket potatoes and fresh herb curd.

Preparation time approx.: 30 minutes (without waiting time)
