Swiss socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, better known by her tabloid name, “The Catwoman,” has announced that she is currently broke.

She claims that she does not have any income currently and hasn’t for the past eight years since her divorce from Alec N. Wildenstein. His family has cut her off from the divorce settlement payment, which she is supposed to get about $100 million annually.

She decided to participate in a two-part docuseries with HBO and a reality TV show because she needs income. The TV show will be produced by the same team that produces Keeping Up With the Kardashians

Wildenstein has been dubbed the “Catwoman” because of the extensive plastic surgery she has received. There were rumors that Wildenstein got these extensive surgeries because Alec loved cats. He reportedly encouraged her so that she would look more feline, but Alec denied these claims.

She first became famous after her public divorce from Alec, who was a well-known art dealer. Weinstein wanted to divorce him because he was having multiple, public affairs with younger women.

From the divorce, Wildenstein obtained $2.5 billion in settlement money – paid out $100 million each year. Alec died in 2008 due to prostate cancer and since 2015 his family has stopped the payments to Wildenstein.

Wildenstein filed for bankruptcy in May 2018.

She still has assets, mainly her properties, that are worth millions of dollars, but has said her checking account balance is $0.

She used to own three apartments in Trump Towers, but they were LL repossessed.

She currently is engaged to Lloyd Klein, a French-Canadian designer. He has spoken publicly about her situation, claiming that she is using her documentary to “reply” to all her critics. In 2016, she was arrested for clawing Klein’s face.
