Gnocchi with green asparagus in lime-sage butter

Ingredients for 2 people:

400 g green asparagus
salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 packet (400 g) gnocchi
50 g butter
Grated zest of ½ untreated lime
8-10 sage leaves (fresh if possible)
Pepper

Preparation:

1. Peel the lower third of the asparagus spears, cut off the ends generously. Cut the asparagus diagonally into pieces. Bring plenty of salted water and blanch the asparagus in it for 2-3 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.

2. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan. Fry the gnocchi from the packet in it for
approx. 5 minutes. Mix in the asparagus.

3. Add butter in small pieces to the pan. Add the lime zest and sage leaves and toss briefly in the hot pan. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

Preparation time approx. 25 minutes
