THE LATEST NEWS ON 2024 FORD MUSTANG PRODUCTION

The media drive program for the S650 2024 Ford Mustang is happening now. And as the most powerful Mustang yet, coupled with fantastic styling that links old-school and modern tech, it’s hard not to love this beautiful machine. Though we initially expected to see a launch of the Mustang a few months ago, customers still have yet to receive their orders, but for good reason.

When Do 2024 Ford Mustang Production And Deliveries Start?

A recent post to the Mustang7G forum reveals that Mike Levine of Ford Communications has had some activity interacting with customers on Instagram. We’re unsure what the initial post had said, but the response by Levine points towards Ford being on track with launching the new pony car. So, why haven’t customers received their orders? The answer is quite simple, one customer stated that their 2024 Mustang was produced on the 19 of last month, but they’re still waiting for shipment. Levine noted that cars are held after finishing production until all quality checks are passed. This is part of Ford’s recent mission to improve the quality of its vehicles.

However, export markets will face extended delays. For Europe, S650 Mustang deliveries have been rescheduled to early 2024 rather than late summer 2023, while the Australian and UK markets will also see the S650 Mustang launch punted to 2024. The Mustang currently holds the title as the “World’s Best Selling Sports Car,” but with launch delays and a shrunken inventory, this title is at risk.

If you didn’t know, Ford has been under the gun for a chain of clumsy vehicle launches over the past few years, with billions of dollars spent trying to fix those problems. So, Ford CEO Jim Farley recently stated that quality improvements are the company’s top priority. Like the F-150 and Bronco, any issues found on the new Ford Mustang are bound to be widely publicized. Such is the cross to bear when launching a new generation of an iconic product. So, the company has been focusing heavily on quality to launch this new product.

That means Ford is slowing down vehicle release to scrutinize every manufacturing detail rather than risk delivering vehicles that could be recalled. So, try not to fret, any delays in receiving delivery for the 2024 S650 Ford Mustang are with good reason, and customers should be happier once they take their cars out for weekend drives without worrying about potential issues.
