THIS IS THE FIRST 2024 CHEVROLET CAMARO IN NITRO YELLOW

Production for the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro will soon begin, and it’s a pretty big deal as that means the final production year for the muscle car is approaching. But, like Dodge did for the Challenger and Charger, Chevrolet is not letting the Camaro die out in silence. With the arrival of two special editions for the 2024 model year for fans to get ahold of, there’s plenty of reason to get excited, but why stop there as there’s a new color option available for the muscle car as well, and it’s called Nitro Yellow.

It’s hard to grasp the genuine gleam an exterior paint color has through photos, but we can tell this color is truly special. It resembles the iconic yellow seen in Camaros past. However, there’s a hint of darkness to it that complements every curve of the Chevrolet Camaro spectacularly. Luckily, if you want to get a closer look at the color, it’ll make its way to the Camarofest in Bowling Green. If you can’t do that, perhaps you’ll be interested in ordering a Camaro with this color, which will be available for the 2024 model year. As for this particular car, that’s a 2024 SS 1LE Camaro.

What Special Editions Are For The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro?

As for the special editions that will be available for the 2024 model year, the Collector’s Edition was the first one to be announced, available for LT/RS, LT1, SS, and ZL1 trims; this vehicle focuses entirely on the Panther theme, which was the Camaro’s original code name until it eventually became the iconic pony car in 1967. All trims, excluding the ZL1, receive an exclusive Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint, Satin Black accent stripes, 20-inch Satin Black or optional polished forged wheels, and the SS 1LE package gets the rear spoiler from the ZL1; as for the ZL1 version, that is made more special with a limited production of just 350 units, an exclusive Panther Black Matte color, front splitter, rear wing from the ZL1 1LE, a Metallic stripe, red brake calipers, and black lug nuts. All 350 Collector’s Edition ZL1 vehicles also receive a serialized steering wheel badge representing where that vehicle was built in sequence.

Garage 56 Edition

There will also be a second special edition for the final year of the Chevrolet Camaro, inspired by the legendary Garage 56 race car that won the hearts of thousands during this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. Based on the renderings revealed at the event, the Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition features a new-for-2024 Riptide Blue exterior color, plus a graphics package that mimics the actual race car, including thin gold stripes that accent a more prominent white stripe running from the hood to rear decklid. A NASCAR 75th Anniversary logo on the hood matches the logo’s prominent placement on the race car. The vehicle also sees a unique aero work, with the front fascia featuring dive-planes like the race car and a NASCAR Cup car-style wicker bill spoiler on the decklid.

As production is expected to begin next month, we’re sure fans are itching to get their hands on any of these special Camaros, and for a good reason, it will be the year the muscle car retires indefinitely.
