Carriker Chronicles: Jim Pillen on His Blackshirt, Doubts About ‘Prime’ & Thoughts on Rhule

On this Carriker Chronicles episode, the governor of Nebraska, Jim Pillen, joins Adam Carriker on "The People's Show." Jim is a former Husker, Blackshirt, two-time first-team all-conference performer, an Academic All-American, as well as the man who recovered Heisman Trophy winner Billy Sims' fumble to seal the Huskers' first-ever win over No. 1-ranked Oklahoma under head coach Tom Osborne.

Jim talks about having his Blackshirt taken from him during a practice and then trying to earn it back. He also talks about being the governor of Nebraska as well as his doubts about Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders at Colorado and his expectations (including a bowl game) for the Huskers in year 1 under Matt Rhule. Enjoy, folks, as Adam boldly goes where no other Nebraska sports show has gone when he dares to have a politician on his show!
