JAY LENO TAKES DELIVERY OF HIS 2023 DODGE CHALLENGER DEMON 170

Renowned television host, comedian, and automotive enthusiast Jay Leno unsurprisingly fell in love with the Dodge Challenger Demon 170. After having appeared at the unveiling event in Las Vegas, taking it for a spin with Dodge brand CEO Tim Kuniskis, and learning a great deal about what makes this Demon of a car so unique, it turns out he decided to purchase the vehicle for himself. A recent video posted by DPCcars showcases Leno as he takes delivery of a gorgeous Octane Red Dodge Challenger Demon 170 at the famous Vinsetta Garage restaurant right on Woodward Avenue, on the morning of the Dream Cruise. He’s the first customer to do so.

The car was delivered to Jay Leno after announcing an innovative range of co-branded car care commodities consisting of Direct Connection, Dodge’s performance products division, and the distinguished realm of Jay Leno’s Garage. In a strike towards a fresh initiative, over twenty premier car detailing and car wash items will come under the Direct Connection/Jay Leno’s Garage banner. A Direct Connection quick detailer, Direct Connection Interior detailer, and Direct Connection all-purpose cleaner will be included. However, that’s just a glimpse into an even more comprehensive lineup. Not that anyone should be surprised, as it’s no secret that Leno takes excellent care of his cars.

2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170: Details

With the curtains drawn, Leno and Kuniskis embarked on a Woodward journey in the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 “Last Call” special-edition vehicle. Considering that Jay Leno’s Garage has many top-tier cars, it shouldn’t be too surprising that the 1,025-horsepower Demon 170 has joined the collection.

This is just one of many Dodge Demon 170s to be produced. Though the legendary muscle car became fully reserved not long after its reveal, it’s important to note that while Leno already got ahold of his, the same might not be said for other reservation holders as Kuniskis recently spoke with MC&T and revealed that there’s a chance the 3,300 unit production goal might not be met by the end of production in just a few months around December 31, 2023.
