Rice pudding with nuts, raisins and tonka - cinnamon - sugar

Ingredients for 4 people:

800 ml milk
125 g rice pudding
50 g sugar
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
75 g mixed nuts
50 g raisins
Furthermore you need
2 fresh figs
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 grated tonka bean

Preparation:

1. Pour milk into a saucepan, stir in rice pudding and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Simmer rice pudding for about 20 minutes, then cover with lid and let it for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally as well. Stir in sugar and vanilla sugar.

2. Coarsely chop the nuts and lightly roast in a pan. Stir together with the raisins into the rice pudding. Leave to cool.

3. Rinse figs and cut in half. Sprinkle cut surfaces with 1 tablespoon sugar. Heat a pan, place figs in pan sugar side down and allow sugar to caramelize slightly.
Allow sugar to caramelize slightly. Add butter and toss in the figs in the pan.

4. Mix remaining sugar with cinnamon and tonka bean. Place rice pudding and figs in bowls and sprinkle with tonka cinnamon sugar.

Preparation time approx. 45 minutes (plus waiting time)
