UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 11: Reality TV Personality Erika Jayne visits Hallmark Channel's

Erika Jayne, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, was sued on Tuesday by Marco Marco fashion designer Christopher Psaila.

Psaila is bringing federal charges against Jayne for an alleged 2015-2016 credit scheme involving costumes and designs that she said were never delivered. He has accused the reality star of using her former husband’s Secret Service connections to maliciously reverse almost $1 million in credit card charges by claiming they were fraudulent, despite not doing due diligence.

In addition to noting Jayne’s now ex-husband, Tom Girardi, and three Secret Service agents, Psaila also named American Express and one of its employees, Peter Grimm, as defendants for aiding and abetting the malicious prosecution charge. He has accused the company of neglecting the case and denying Psaila the chance to refute the reversal.

The designer is seeking a minimum of $18 million in damages. Jayne’s legal team has not commented on the situation, though Psaila is seeking a jury trial.
