Streamer Nadia has accused Activision Blizzard of sexism after not getting invited to call of Duty Next.
CoD Next is one of the biggest Call of Duty events of the year, with fans coming from all over the world to meet popular Call of Duty competitors and creators. It should also have a lot of information on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. In preparation of the big event, invites have been sent out — but some players feel slighted.
Nadia not invited to CoD Next
Nadia has been playing Call of Duty consistently so she expected to get an invite to CoD Next. After she didn’t get an invite, she lashed out at Call of Duty for not inviting her for sexist reasons.
According to a since-deleted tweet, Nadia feels that she was passed over due to her “bikini pics” posted to social media. Nadia claimed that this was the reason she was not invited while male streamers, including Tyler “Tfue” Tenney and Aydan Conrad, have also posted shirtless photos without repercussions.
“When I reached out weeks ago about the double standard, they dismissed it and lied,” the deleted tweet concluded.
It has not been officially confirmed that it was her raunchy photos that led to the lack of invite. It’s also possible that Nadia was uninvited due to past in-game cheating allegations or her expressing negative feelings about Call of Duty on stream.
