The tail end of 2023 is loaded with AAA RPGs and brawlers, but amid them, Cities: Skylines 2 shines as a chill time-killer for creative heads. Here’s all we know about the city-building game’s release date, price, and more.

Cities: Skylines has a cult player base that keeps returning to the game for its clear visuals, elaborate gameplay, and freedom to create. However, the game’s predecessor was still restrictive to some extent, but now Paradox Interactive has taken city-building to new heights.

The game’s trailer looks clean and compelling, and if you’re just as tempted to try out the game when it releases, here’s everything you should know about it.

Cities: Skylines 2 release date

Skylines 2 is slated for October 24, 2023. The early access application method and date is currently unknown, but community members recommend pre-purchasing the game, and hoping for the best.

Players across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, will be able to indulge in city-building on October 24, 2023. Since Paradox Interactive is releasing the second installment after eight years of waiting, fans want to pre-purchase it in hopes of getting early access.

How to pre-order Skylines 2

To purchase the game 2 ahead of the official launch in October, players should head to the sites relevant to their platforms. PC users can place an order on Steam or Microsoft Store, PlayStation 5 owners can pre-order via the PlayStation Store, and players on Xbox Series Xs can find the game on Microsoft Store.
