TSM’s star Apex Legends player Philip “ImperialHal” Dosen apparently finds the game “boring.”
Apex Legends has continued to get new updates, legends, and limited time modes, but the gameplay itself has been a source of frustration for the biggest pro players, including ImperialHal.
The champion Apex Legends pro has continuously asked Respawn Entertainment to make some much-needed changes, including giving top players some incentives like a Fortnite-inspired Cash Cup style series. He has also noted ongoing problems with servers and the ranked system.
Now, ImperialHal has added “boring” to the list of problems.
Is ImperialHal quitting Apex Legends?
After ongoing complaints, some fans are worried that ImperialHal may have had enough of the competitive Apex Legends scene.
In a recent stream, ImperialHal stated: “I feel like the actual game, outside of competitive, is just boring to me. Playing ranked, pubs… When I look at the playlist of this game — when I look at pubs, controls, ranked, firing range — it’s all like the same thing to me and everything is redundant.”
According to ImperialHal, grinding Apex has become “boring” since it’s been “the same thing” for so long. Playing the same game modes for eight hours in a row has become difficult the past few seasons, he added.
So, is ImperialHal done with the game?
“Just because I might not enjoy Apex ranked like I used to, that is not going to stop me from doing my part on team,” ImperialHal told fans.
The popular streamer and pro Apex Legends player is not giving up on the game any time soon. Still, he’s hoping that Season 18 will bring a lot of changes and some fresh content.
