Former Trump Aide Cassidy Hutchinson Says She Was Groped By Rudy Giuliani On Jan. 6

WASHINGTON, DC - NOVEMBER 19: Rudy Giuliani speaks to the press about various lawsuits related to the 2020 election, inside the Republican National Committee headquarters on November 19, 2020 in Washington, DC. President Donald Trump, who has...

In her newly published book Enough, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson claims Rudy Giuliani groped her during her time working for former President Donald Trump.

Hutchinson, 26, who delivered testimony to the congressional committee that investigated the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, claims that Giuliani groped her on the day of the riot.

In her book, Hutchinson described meeting with Giuliani backstage at a speech of Trump’s before a mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol building in a protest against the results of the 2020 election. Hutchinson asserts that the former New York mayor put his hand under her skirt during this time.

“I fight against the tension in my muscles and recoil from Rudy’s grip,” Hutchinson writes in her book.

Former Trump ally John Eastman was also present during the incident, Hutchinson alleges.

Hutchinson gave consequential testimony about Trump, Giuliani and former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows in front of the Congressional January 6 committee.

Hutchinson claimed that Trump wanted to go to the Capitol following his rally on January 6 and he tried to grab the steering wheel of the vehicle he was traveling in to go towards the Capitol building.

Trump is facing four indictments, most notably for keeping classified documents after leaving the White House and trying to corruptly overturn the 2020 presidential election.

He faces a total of 40 charges including:

  • 32 counts of unlawful retention of national defense information
  • One count of conspiracy to obstruct justice
  • One count of withholding a document or record
  • One count of corruptly concealing a document or record
  • One count of concealing a document in a federal investigation
  • One count of scheme to conceal
  • One count of false statements and representations
  • One count of altering, destroying, mutilating or concealing an object
  • One count of corruptly altering, destroying, mutilating or concealing a document, record or other object

Giuliani has also been arrested in Georgia and booked on 13 charges related to attempting to overturn the 2020 election. Earlier this year, a former associate of Giuliani sued him for alleged abuse of power and harassment. The former associate claims he hired her off-the-books for sexual favors.

A Giuliani spokesman said in a statement: “This is a disgusting lie against Mayor Rudy Giuliani—a man whose distinguished career in public service includes taking down the Mafia, cleaning up New York City and comforting the nation following September 11th.”

Hutchinson recently denied Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) statement that he dated her briefly. “I have much higher standards in men,” she said.
