No. 2 Nebraska Volleyball Sweeps Northwestern

Good news and bad news for Nebraska volleyball Wednesday evening.

On the good side of things, the No. 2 Huskers swept Northwestern 25-15, 16, 21 in Evanston to improve to 18-0 on the season. On the bad side, outside hitter Lindsay Krause missed the match with an ankle injury.

Huskers Radio Network announced during the pregame that Krause injured her ankle in practice Tuesday. There is no timetable on her return.

On the court, Nebraska's offense hit a blistering .395, a season best, while allowing .141 from Northwestern.

Merritt Beason had 13 kills and hit .323 with seven digs and three blocks, while Harper Murray had 10 kills and hit .412 and served a career-high four aces. Bekka Allick contributed nine kills on .800 hitting with a pair of blocks. Andi Jackson had seven kills and hit .667.

Bergen Reilly handed out 38 assists to go with six digs and two kills.

Next up for Nebraska is a home date with No. 1 Wisconsin Saturday.
