Bill Maher's Eerie Prediction About Trump Came True

After Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, he did everything in his power to prove that he still won — something that Bill Maher predicted back in the day.

"I'm just to educate you a little on this. I was saying this for five years when everyone was laughing at me for saying this, that Trump would never concede the election and he would never go away. I was all alone on a raft," the TV star, 67, said on a recent episode of his podcast, "Club Random with Bill Maher," while speaking with conservative political commentator Candace Owens.

The two also spoke about the Trump's GOP rivals, including Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy. Even though there are many politicians in the race, Maher is confident Trump, 77, will be president again.

"Look, it's going to be Trump and whoever he wants [as VP]," Maher said, adding that he couldn't believe most of them didn't lash out against Trump.

"OK, but they raised their hand — except for Christie — when they said, 'Would you support him as the nominee?' I mean, that's pretty amazing for a guy who is probably going to be convicted for what he should be convicted for," he said, referring to Trump's legal woes.

However, the HBO star pointed out that Mike Pence will definitely not be Trump's VP again if he does win the election. "No, he might be deluded enough to think that Jesus will decide it should be him — and that's really what he thinks makes the difference in the world is what Jesus decides," Maher said, referring to Pence's religious views. "If that's what you really think about how this issue is going to get resolved, Jesus Christ is going to come down and do this. I think that's Mike Pence."

"I think he's running because he thinks it's in God's hands and he's a very good friend of God, and it doesn't look good right now, but Jesus can perform miracles," he said of the former VP's potential thought process.

As OK! previously reported, Maher frequently brings up Trump running for president on his show a lot.

Despite Trump being indicted four times, Maher thinks it's not out of the realm of possibilities he could rule the world behind bars.

“Absolutely absolute. It’s also very much possible, I think. And I don’t think we’ll ever send him to jail, but I think he could get house arrest at Mar-a-Lago and be the president at the same time and run this world from an orange jumpsuit. That is not an unrealistic scenario,” Maher said.
